The Devotional – Search the Scriptures – 637

Today’s Kick Start! – (CJB) Psalm 19  (7) The Torah of Adonai is perfect, restoring the inner person. The instruction of Adonai is sure, making wise the thoughtless.

Meditating with the Creator—Psalm 19 1The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. 2 Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard. 4 Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices like a strong man to run its race. 6 Its rising is from one end of heaven, And its circuit to the other end; And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

JESUS CHRIST: He IS the same Yesterday, He IS the same Today, He Forever, IS God!

The heavens reveal God’s glory and all the visible stars and planets reveal the Power of His Voice. God’s design of the heavens reveal His Character—Sovereignty, Abiding Presence, Power and Unchangeableness. The heavens have not changed in the last seven thousand years (the known history of mankind, see Deuteronomy 29:29). We can know that God is unchangeable. Our faith rests on the accuracy of God’s absolute Truth. God is Eternal and His Love is everlasting. Also, God has Righteousness and Justice that is pure and untouched by the devil or fallen mankind.

When we meditate with God concerning the stars, planets, and the vastness of it, revelation is very real and very comforting. God reveals immediately that as His children, we are as beautifully and wonderfully made as the universe around us reveals; Psalm 90 1Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. 2 Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. Also, when we learn to meditate with God, He teaches us to number our days; Psalm 90 12 So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom.

God’s Talk—His conversation with you and me, along with the rest of the world is non-stop! Everywhere you look in the heavens, the ears of your soul are directed to “listen up”! Have you witnessed animal life? When these creatures hear something, their ears and eyes focus on the direction of the sound. Spiritually speaking humans are dull of hearing,  the reason; the devil has provided a counterfeit noise. Worldly confusion, a deception that drowns out the pure loving words of God. Yet, God remains patient with us and we are not consumed.

There are no languages or utterances of words by people groups where the word of God is silent. God Talk—is in the soul of every person and when one flushes the noise of deception from their soul via meditation, they will hear Creation’s voice directing them to The Creator—this is how missionaries receive their call to go into all the world and proclaim the good news. All of this is not by the will of man, but it is the Divine Call of God who placed all of this together. 2 Peter 3 9The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

A Devotional – SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES (17)  COMMENT: Looking a little deeper! The cause of the flood that covered the entire surface of the earth, resulted; apart from the families of Adam and Seth. The families of unrighteous Cain also was multiplying. Cain went out (away) from the LORD; See Genesis 4:16-26. I want to note that the man Lamech in Cain’s family, is not the Lamech who begot Noah of Methuselah’s family who is of the Adam family. If you visit the Ark Encounter in Kentucky you will see that Adah, one of Lamech’s wives’ interviews Noah about the building of the Ark, quite clever, I believe. The wives of the believing clan of Adam, except for Eve are not known, or named.
