Today’s Kick Start! (NKJV) 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Personal Obedience—(NKJV) The Lamb of God is THE LORD who meets our needs

John 6 1After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias. Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased. And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples. Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near. Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.” One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?” 10 Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11 And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. 12 So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.” 13 Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten. 14 Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

JESUS CHRIST: He IS the same Yesterday, He IS the same Today, He IS God Forever!

One thing I need to remind myself of is that God is; and always will be eternally present with His called-out ones, and He knows what to do. Churches mostly do well, but I believe we all can do better. I am not a pastor, or a prophet and in my ancestry as far as I know, none of those related to me were. But I, like you {if you are saved} are disciples of Jesus our Lord. Like the disciples in this passage we are often tested by Jesus to do a work or that work that He presents to us for His glory and not ours.

ALL of the work we do will fall short since Jesus already knows what to do. Certainly, this is hard for us to understand since we have good ideas but you know as well as I do we seldom, if at all fully meet the needs of the people we minister to. The ideas or plans we come up with often miss the mark as we cannot do the work of ministering without allowing God to finish. He knows the end from the beginning. Isaiah 46 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’

God will do ‘all of His pleasure’ is not this the way it should be? So many ministries today have – plans, programs, and promotions, that fail. If Jesus is the ‘Author’ of the Plan, He should also be the ‘finisher too’ Hebrews 12 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. When we know this, there will be an abundance of faith left over for the next event, coming up tomorrow.
