The Devotional – Search the Scriptures – 636

Today’s Kick Start! – (CJB) Psalm 19  (7) The Torah of Adonai is perfect, restoring the inner person. The instruction of Adonai is sure, making wise the thoughtless.

Meditating with the Creator—Psalm 19 1The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. 2 Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard. 4 Their [c]line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a [d]tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices like a strong man to run its race. 6 Its rising is from one end of heaven, And its circuit to the other end; And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

JESUS CHRIST: He IS the same Yesterday, He IS the same Today, He Forever, IS God!

Far above the polluted heart of man and the deceptive lies of Satan, our Almighty God has provided to all PEOPLES; the beautiful revelation of His Powerful Creation. We as His children MUST acquire the wisdom and knowledge of this miracle above all miracles that God, along with the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, has provided to all of mankind the revealing TRUTH that the Glory of God will never be corrupted by the FALL of Adam and Eve.

All of the children of God by Faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ have the Spiritual ability to meditate with our Creator. I do not know the number or percentage of folks who meditate with God and I think that even those of us who do fall short of enjoying this time with God.

Well now, don’t hang your head in shame if you are among the many of us who fail to meditate as we should. You will notice immediately that once you begin this journey with God, all of the slack will disappear – and thanks be to God who is not slack concerning any of His promises.

Most of God’s children pray, but there is more to prayer than petition. We are not people who do not pray for God to fix our concerns and problems. Even the unbelieving pray, but I am reminded of the prophet Malachi who wrote concerning the superficial prayers and worship that the Jewish nation offered to God, only to have Him reject all of their polluted rituals and offerings. I am not guessing or simply running my thoughts to NOWHERE with this—God is not going to bless our conversation with Him if we fail to meditate with Him.

God has provided the beauty of heaven and earth to reveal to you and me personally of His Majesty. To reject the beauty of Creation is unbelief. And to ignore creations loud call for mankind to observe Creation is to deny the Good News. To know the revelation of God and to not meditate on this is like one who misses the mark; Speaking of false teachers, Paul admonishes Timothy to guard Faith. 1 Timothy 6 – 21 For many who promise this “knowledge” have missed the mark, as far as the faith is concerned. Grace be with you.

Many say that God is AWESOME and He is, but not of us will fully come to grips with this truth as failing to meditate with Him, misses the mark. A good place to start is Psalm 19. I hope you enjoy the next few days as we meditate with our Awesome God as He has declared the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10).

A Devotional – SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES (17)  COMMENT: Looking a little deeper! The cause of the flood that covered the entire surface of the earth, resulted; apart from the families of Adam and Seth. The families of unrighteous Cain also was multiplying. Cain went out (away) from the LORD; See Genesis 4:16-26. I want to note that the man Lamech in Cain’s family, is not the Lamech who begot Noah of Methuselah’s family who is of the Adam family.
