1 Corinthians 15:1, 3-4 (CJB)

(The apostle Paul writes) Now, brothers, I must remind you of the Good News which I proclaimed to you, and which you received, and on which you have taken your stand, For among the first things I passed on to you was what I also received, namely this: the Messiah died for our sins, in accordance with what the Tanakh (Scripture) says; and he was buried; and he was raised on the third day, in accordance with what the Tanakh (Scripture) says;
1 Peter 1:3-4 (CJB)

(The apostle Peter writes) 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead 4 and into an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.

 

The Christ/Messiah – Is The LORD – Call to Repentance

This morning, Brothers and sisters! I was reminded by the LORD, of God’s mercy and forgiveness. Life can and IS a hard road, the fact is, is that LIFE is the hardest road we as humans take. The reason is obvious, we cannot go back and retrace our steps and we cannot in our human capacity direct a change to the circumstances of the past. In other words, our personal present life—IS WHAT IT IS, past and present. But God who loves us (John 3:16) does have a plan and a future for us. 

God knows and understands our plight, we are only aware of it. So if God knows and understands, what we know, but do not understand. He then must also have a solution. His solution is; “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the World”. John 1:29. If this is true and it is, then there is NO OTHER WAY (John 14:6). In the Old Testament and in the book of Ezekiel, the prophet writes the following message from God.

Ezekiel 18: (CJB)18 Yet his father, because he oppressed so cruelly, committed robbery against his brother and never did anything good among his people — he will die for his sins. 19 “You ask, ‘Why doesn’t the son bear his father’s guilt?’ When the son has done what is lawful and right, has kept all my laws and obeyed them, he will certainly live. 20 The person who sins is the one that will die — a son is not to bear his father’s guilt with him, nor is the father to bear his son’s guilt with him, but the righteousness of the righteous will be his own, and the wickedness of the wicked will be his own. 21 “However, if the wicked person repents of all the sins he committed, keeps my laws and does what is lawful and right; then he will certainly live, (1 Peter 1:3-4) he will not die. 22 None of the transgressions he has committed will be remembered against him; for the righteousness that he has done, he will live. 23 Do I take any pleasure at all in having the wicked person die?” asks Adonai Elohim. “No, I do not! Wouldn’t I prefer that he turn from his ways and live?
