The Christ/Messiah – Is The LORD – Call to Repentance

Probably in January/February of this year we as a nation began to be aware of the world-wide biological illness that is now as well-known as our own name. CoVid-19. Coronavirus is not a subject that needs to be brought to anyone’s attention, yet there may be some remote people groups somewhere in the world who do not know. To go and inform these folks would be to physically BRING the virus to them, this is how potent the virus IS.

Today on our local FOX61 news channel, Louise and I watched, like many others in our state, the morning segment of 61 seconds of the Hymn ‘Amazing Grace’ This channel has what these news people call 61 seconds of serenity. The news station has been showing the segment for at least a month and up to now it has all been secular scenes of various landscapes in Connecticut. This is a big step for secular television to move closer to the Truth. What will it take to get a saint to wake up and share the gospel?

Many churches are distracted with the local governments, like ‘Shall we gather at the river’ or in a ‘building’. Oh! Am I mistaken – the LORD never intended for the Church of Jesus to be a building of any size, ‘mega or minor’. Yet, I suppose that organized buildings of worship have a place in the pagan world. As I recall the church by definition is any called out community of Saints, both on the earth and in heaven. Those of us still on the earth, have local places of ‘fellowship’, but are we not called out to be a witness of God? Are we not ambassadors for Christ, the Lamb of God?

This is my personal observation, “Are we not like Jonah, did not God send a virus and a great storm and cast His church overboard?” Are we not clinging to the ship like a drowning rat? Now we complain that we cannot continue to sit in the belly of the big fish and enjoy the halitosis and the stench of the corporate World church. which fails to glorify God. Some of us recognize the troubled church and are calling out to our local world around to repent. There is much more to say, and frankly—I do not give a ‘HOOT’ whether you agree or not! God will have the last word. A WORD, when spoken, will be similar to this. “Saint, what are you doing with your Blood bought life?” Our present condition is not the end of the world as some are inclined to believe, but it just may be that God is upset with His saints and is calling us back to Himself—Preach the Word? Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching – 2 Timothy 4:2
“As I live says the LORD, Every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” each of us shall give an account of himself to God, Romans 14:11-12 and Isaiah 45:23.
