A Devotional – SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES (14)

COMMENT: We had a very nice vacation in Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. It was quick but very well enjoyed. First, we took in the play “Jesus” at Sight and Sound in PA. then travelled to KY for the “Ark Encounter” and the “Creation Research Center”. We learned or confirmed many wonderful works of God at all three places. I suppose if the LORD wills I will spend a few days in the devotionals going over some of our trip highlights.

SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES: (Genesis) The Beginning
Most people who have no concept of God, His Word or Creation believe that the beginning of our Earth, the Heavens, the Sun, the Moon, Galaxies and all things observable by the human eye came to exist by some magical formula made of something that has existed for billions of years. By far; I am not an authority on this, but I do understand that believing in a magical formula is copping out on the Words of God who said. “In the Beginning I (God) Created the Heavens and the Earth”. Honestly, we (you and I) cannot debate God on this statement of His, Why? We were not there! So, we either believe Him by human FAITH, or we reject Him by human reasoning.

Magical formula is NOT, and I repeat NOT intelligent design and one sincere look at our universe will reveal intelligence and not magic. Magic does not allow FAITH to exist, it only allows the mind to conjure up imaginary formula that reeks with error upon error. For the last six thousand years men and women of education and training in science have never reached omniscient status to make an absolute statement about how the universe was formed. Only God is Omniscient! Why? Because He alone is GOD, He alone was and is there. Of course, you know this is true, as the answer is buried in your soul. Ecclesiastes 3:9-13.

The worker who labors over the task of finding out God apart from the knowledge of God, labors in vain. God has made EVERYTHING beautiful in its time (The six days of creation) Genesis 1:1-31) we need to go no further as our soul is made in the image of God, by faith in (God) Jesus. No one can find out the works of God from beginning to end, but God who is great in mercy will; willingly reveal to your soul what is already resident there; His Awesome Truth, Genesis 1:26-27. You see we are reveal that image of God wherever we go. I know I have failed and if you are honest… so have you.
