The Devotional – Search the Scriptures – 598

Today’s Kick Start! – (NKJV) 1 Corinthians 3:16 – Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in?

The current condition of the Temple of God  – 1 Corinthians 3: 1And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? 4 For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not carnal?

JESUS CHRIST: He IS the same Yesterday, He IS the same Today, He Forever, IS God!

The Temple of God! In our day—What does it resemble to the world around us? Is it appealing? Do we hear the world around us claiming that the soul of God’s children resembles the temple of God in Solomon’s day as being that of ‘gold, silver and precious stone. Or would it be even that of the Second Temple of which we witness from scripture that Messiah was so displeased with the liberal way of what He saw—that the 2nd Temple, beautiful on the outside, resembled a ‘den’ a hangout for thieves?

Are you a child of the Living God? if you test the trust you have in God, do you pass it?  2 Corinthians 13:5 (CJB) 5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are living the life of trust. Test yourselves. Don’t you realize that Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah is in you? — unless you fail to pass the test. YOU are the only one who can take this test for yourself, no one can take it for you!

So it is, that in our day, God does not need a temple made with stone and wood, He does not need Solomon’s temple of gold, silver, and precious stones. EVERY child of God is NOW the TENPLE of GOD since God the HOLY SPIRIT LIVES in the soul of every one who is ‘born again’! The church today is not a building. The Church Today is YOU and ME—men, women and children who have been born again into the family of God. what MUST you do to be a Child of God? Trust God. Jesus is the Corner Stone of the Temple of God, in us! If Jesus is not in your soul—you fail the test!

Acts 4, the apostles Peter and John were speaking to their nation concerning the testimony of Christ. This same message is for all of us. 10 let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. 11 This is the ‘stone’ which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’’ 12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

John 3 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Are you loving the world, or do you love God? This is a question that will be answered in due time as you cannot lie to the Holy Spirit and go to heaven.

The Devotional – Search the Scriptures – 695 Today’s Kick Start! – (NKJV) 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.   Personal Obedience—(NKJV) The Lamb of God is THE LORD who meets our needs John   6   1 After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias. 2  Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased. 3  And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples. 4  Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near. 5  Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” 6  But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do . 7  Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii...

The Devotional – Search the Scriptures – 597 Today’s Kick Start! – (NKJV) Haggai 1 : 7  Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways! The Temple then, The Church now   – Haggai 1: 6  “You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.” JESUS CHRIST: He IS the same Yesterday, He IS the same Today, He Forever, IS God! Spiritually, the ‘called out’ church of Jesus Christ today has labored. In the past there was great success, but sadly in many churches today the spiritual food is like a famine. Much of our worship service is spent singing and praising a god of cymbal and brass, The pastors of these congregations are focused on making people feel good and about their self-worth, Psychology; a science of the mind and behavior of the person. These worships and teachings focu...
