Today’s Kick Start! (NKJV) Psalm 141:1 – Lord, I cry out to You; Make haste to me! Give ear to my voice when I cry out to You.

Vital Prayer  Psalm 141 1Lord, I cry out to You; Make haste to me! Give ear to my voice when I cry out to You. Let my prayer be set before You as incense, The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips. Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, To practice wicked works With men who work iniquity; And do not let me eat of their delicacies. Let the righteous strike me; It shall be a kindness. And let him rebuke me; It shall be as excellent oil; Let my head not refuse it. For still my prayer is against the deeds of the wicked. Their judges are overthrown by the sides of the cliff, And they hear my words, for they are sweet. Our bones are scattered at the mouth of the grave, As when one plows and breaks up the earth. But my eyes are upon You, O God the Lord; In You I take refuge; Do not leave my soul destitute. Keep me from the snares they have laid for me, And from the traps of the workers of iniquity. 10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, While I escape safely.

JESUS CHRIST: He IS the same Yesterday, He IS the same Today, He Forever, IS God!

As a child of God; you and I know FULL well that the days we live in are EVIL. Also, and even though we would not like to admit it we can walk in that evil. The door to our tongue opens and the volition of our lips tell the story abiding in our heart. This is not PART of our human nature—it is our human nature.

God has called us out of the world where human nature abides, He has placed us in the KINGDOM of His SON—Jesus Christ. This is the basic truth of our adopted relationship with God the Father. And He has made every provision for us to live and abide in Him. These provisions provide for safe passage through the enemy territory. The enemy territory is not some dark street where evil lurks. The enemy has access to your ears, your heart, and your mouth.

Alone you and I are no match for the enemy, we are consumed by the world because we are surrounded by it, so God in His Mercy and Grace makes access to His safe haven by three ways. (1) Galatians 5:16 – I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

(2) John 15:4 –  Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. (3) Psalm 141; Romans 12:1-2; Jeremiah 33:3, and James 3 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
