Today’s Kick Start! (CJB) Proverbs 8: 12 “I, wisdom, live together with caution; I attain knowledge and discretion. 13 The fear of Adonai is hatred of evil. I hate pride and arrogance,
evil ways and duplicitous speech.

Nothing deceitful is found in the Wisdom of God

John 3:18-21 (NKJV) Discerning the heart of Mankind

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

JESUS CHRIST: He IS the same Yesterday, He IS the same Today, He Forever, IS God!

The entire world (all humans) live under the curse of condemnation (judgment and death). No doubt this heavy burden that all men, woman, and children carry within their soul is the prime reason people fear death. Even the atheist in his or her total disregard for Spiritual matters (good or evil) fear physical death. The grace of God and the freewill of mankind are two opposing forces; See Genesis 2:17. This condition of opposition to God, God calls ‘darkness’, mankind loves darkness rather than Light because the freewill of mankind loves darkness.

Having ‘free will’ whether we like it or not; is a gift from God. Like free will; the Grace of God is also a gift provided by God—we do not have to work for these gifts, these gifts are provided by God’s love. Free will and grace are liken to hinges on a door, except these hinges never wear out and never need replacement. John 10:9 – I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

Free will as it relates to the darkness of good and evil keeps the door shut, yet the grace of God is always seeking for mankind to deny ungodliness and repent; that is, to open the door. Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed (darkness) and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

So, to believe in free will is to ‘trust’ in oneself (keeping the door shut) and to experience the uncertainty of judgment and death. But to believe in the grace of God is to trust in the grace of God; (open the door) to Jesus Christ—Hebrews 10:5 – Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me.

Happy Thanksgiving folks, there will not be a devotional tomorrow.
