Today’s Kick Start!  Philippians 3:14 (Complete Jewish Bible)
I keep pursuing the goal in order to win the prize offered by God’s upward calling in the Messiah Yeshua.

Ephesians 2:1-9 (CJB) – God’s Gift of Eternal Life

8 For you have been delivered by grace through trusting, and even this is not your accomplishment but God’s gift. 9 You were not delivered by your own actions; therefore no one should boast. 10 For we are of God’s making, created in union with the Messiah Yeshua for a life of good actions already prepared by God for us to do. 11 Therefore, remember your former state: you Gentiles by birth — called the Uncircumcised by those who, merely because of an operation on their flesh, are called the Circumcised — 12 at that time had no Messiah. You were estranged from the national life of Isra’el. You were foreigners to the covenants embodying God’s promise. You were in this world without hope and without God. 13 But now, you who were once far off have been brought near through the shedding of the Messiah’s blood.

 

God, does not change; He is the same yesterday, today, and forever—The Messiah!
Today I choose to use the Complete Jewish Bible for this very familiar passage of scripture. Through my time as a child of God, I have enjoyed the fellowship and meditation of this verse as one of the favorites as God ministers to my soul. Were it not for the love of God for His Creation; we as His own children, by trusting Him would not be standing in His grace.

I believe that Biblical Grace has no human explanation as every explanation that I have heard seems to fall short of the true grace of God. So, from the Biblical record we read—Romans 5:15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if by the one man’s trespass the many died, how much more have the grace of God and the gift which comes through the grace of the one man Jesus Christ overflowed to the many.

The gift of grace overflows all trespass, Jesus is the grace gift and total coverage for all sin. We were far off, whether Jew or Gentile, whether circumcised or uncircumcised, whether bond slave or free man. Without the grace of God which flows from eternity, there would be no hope and no trust since there would be no Lamb of God. How could one boast over this? God had His Foundational Plan of Grace in place before you and I were delivered from our mother’s womb.

(CJB) Genesis 3: 15 I will put animosity between you and the woman, and between your descendant and her descendant; He will bruise your head, and you will bruise His heel.” God’s Plan for you and me to TRUST Him was in place before Satan fell and became God’s enemy. You and I were brought near to God via the Blood of Christ—John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed.
