Today’s Kick Start!  Hebrews 12:1 (CSB)
Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every hindrance and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us,

Ephesians 2:1-9 (CSB) – From Death to Life

1 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins in which you previously walked according to the ways of this world, according to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit now working in the disobedient. We too all previously lived among them in our fleshly desires, carrying out the inclinations of our flesh and thoughts, and we were by nature children under wrath as the others were also. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us, made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace! He also raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavens in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might display the immeasurable riches of his grace through his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift— not from works so that no one can boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do.

God, does not change; He is the same yesterday, today, and forever—The Messiah!
It is necessary from time to time to be reminded us of our past, that being; 1 Corinthians 6:1-11, since many of us carry our past into our present relationship with the Messiah. We are reminded that God is not the author of such activity, He as you already know He is the Author of Salvation—Hebrews 12:1-2. Here in Ephesians 2;1-3 We are reminded of where we redeemed and saved from dead works.

Now we are alive in The Messiah to do His works, God placed us in His kingdom to do works of Light in The Christ. Rescued from the works of darkness by the grace of God, we are now Trophies of HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.

We are the church of Jesus Christ and if you take a serious look at what surrounds our churches TODAY, you may feel as I do, we have failed to be preachers of the Word and we are reaping what we have sown. Micah 2:6 “Quit your preaching,” they preach. “They should not preach these things; shame will not overtake us.” Shame will not overtake us; it already has!
