Life and the meaningless of it
without the LORD, even though the LORD is meaningful and is a very present help
in life.
Proverbs 2 The Value of Wisdom (Part
2)
10
When wisdom enters your heart, And
knowledge is pleasant to your soul, 11 Discretion will preserve
you; Understanding will keep you, 12 To deliver you from the
way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things, 13 From
those who leave the paths of uprightness To walk in the ways of darkness; 14 Who
rejoice in doing evil, And delight in the perversity of the wicked; 15 Whose
ways are crooked, And who are devious in their paths; 16 To
deliver you from the immoral woman, From the seductress who flatters
with her words, 17 Who forsakes the companion of her youth, And
forgets the covenant of her God. 18 For her house leads down to
death, And her paths to the dead; 19 None who go to her return,
Nor do they regain the paths of life—20 So you may walk in the
way of goodness, And keep to the paths of righteousness. 21 For
the upright will dwell in the land, And the blameless will remain in it; 22 But
the wicked will be [c]cut off from
the earth And the unfaithful will be uprooted from it.
The Christ/Messiah – Meditation in
The Wisdom and knowledge of God
We are a wayward people; Jews and Gentiles alike, if we are not
conscious of the existence of God we are not falling into the hands of the
devil’s world, we are in it and involved from the head to the foot. This is
important so I think we all should take note. There are three main paths in the
devil’s world. Now to lay a framework, let’s take a look at Psalm 119:105 – Your
Word is a Lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Literally, a pathway is fixed, we do not have to trail-blasé
our way through the woods to grandmother’s house each time we go, but
spiritually and mentally we may trail-blasé a path or two where wisdom is
needed. Not the wisdom of the world which always leads to dangerous consequences
but from the Wisdom that only God can provide. Also, we do not have to trail-blasé
a path in the waywardness of the world. These pathways already exist. Adonai/Jesus
spoke of these pathways in the gospel of Matthew.
Matthew
7:13 “Go in through the narrow gate; for the gate that leads to
destruction is wide and the road broad, and many travel it; 14 but
it is a narrow gate and a hard road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
The
road of the Wisdom of God is a hard road, but one of continual pleasantness. The
wide road has three lanes to travel on (3) a moral road full of do’s and don’ts
causing most in this lane to switch back and forth and from the other lanes. The
other lanes are lanes of (1) immorality and (2) idolatry. To get an understanding
of this you must read Romans, chapters 1 through 3.
You
will not find any ‘pleasant life’ on the wide road to destruction, all of the
people on the wide road will reap the momentary ‘pleasures of life’ and eternal
damnation as they die and are placed in the Lake of Fire. Therefore, we must
take serious the Word of God and let God bring us to Him by faith.
