Luke 2:8-11 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
In the countryside nearby were some shepherds spending the night in the fields, guarding their flocks, when an angel of Adonai appeared to them, and the Sh’khinah (Shekinah) of Adonai shone around them. They were terrified; 10 but the angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, because I am here announcing to you Good News that will bring great joy to all the people. 11 This very day, in the town of David, there was born for you a Deliverer who is the Messiah, the Lord.

Luke 2:8:11 (NKJV) Glory in the Highest

Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
The Christ – Meditation in The Wisdom and knowledge of God

The message of the birth of Jesus has never been silent or dark. Whether a person of today or of yesterday like a shepherd; or even a king like Herod. The report of the birth of Jesus Christ/Messiah is shocking LIGHT. A light that cannot be repeated except by the power and Glory of God. Some would say that we do not see the ‘Shekinah’ glory of God these days, these folks are wrong. Ask any New Born Babe in Jesus, that when Christ revealed Himself in the soul of that individual, they will plainly explain to you that the glory of the LORD surrounded them.

In this season of celebrating Christ; let us all cast off the deeds of darkness, religion, and tradition. These have no place in the day of Christ’s Birth. The miracle of His Birth cannot be repeated except in the Light of God’s glory. So go out and witness what great things God has done for you, as you have; I assume been ‘born again’ 1 Peter 1:23 – having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.

Jesus Christ is ADONAI! Is this important and we Gentiles should be as upfront in our knowledge of this as the Jew. We love and we speak to God, who is the LORD/ADONAI. Jesus is not the masked singer or some celebrated star of the past. Jesus is the SAME, yesterday, today and forever, therefore do not be carried away by strange, and do think that ADONAI is impressed by your ignorant ramblings. It is well-pleasing to God our Savior who would desire that you establish yourself in accordance with His grace, mercy, and peace. Micah 6:8.
