John’s Witness: The True Light
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.
The Christ – Meditation in The Wisdom and knowledge of God

1 Corinthians 2:9 – But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” Darkness is in the world, This is not the darkness of night, nor has it anything to do with the light of the day. The darkness spoken of in scripture is a blanket of deception and fraud. While both words mean the same basically, the word fraud linked together with deception is revealing in this case the total plan of one angel and his personal attempt to gain control of God’s Creation through lies and theft. So powerful is his plan is that before he placed this deceit over all of mankind, he deceived one-third of the angels of heaven to follow his rebellion to overthrow God.

Satan’s agenda cannot be called happenstance, his actions are not a coincidence of fate, and Satan is not a victim. He is the leader of deception and fraud; the Holy Bible identifies his plan as darkness. His plan is active on all of creation. Thorns, thistles and weeds, birds, animals and fish too. Likewise humans and angels are under the sway of the darkness of the devil, yet we have free will and it was the free will of Satan who chose to turn his back on God and it was the freewill the angels to follow his rebellion. Humans, likewise, are not victims of fate or happenstance, and like Satan, mankind knew God before they knew deception and fraud. A brief reading of Genesis 3 reveals this Truth. Thus, as the Bible reveals; mankind chose to love the darkness of personal fraud and deception as his way, his life, and his death. God sends the LIGHT!

He, Jesus is the LIGHT of the world, Jesus is the Creator of Light which is God’s Messiah and victory over the world of darkness. Jesus is the way, the Truth and the Light, this is the same Light that was in the world before mankind chose to fall in love with deception and fraud. God does nothing in the dark, all of His Character is Light,

God sent a forerunner and he was a witness to the Light which came into the world. The forerunner’s name is John. John is roughly six to nine months older than Jesus. See Luke 1. There is a lot to say about John the Baptist, but I feel the urge to write about him later, so please bear with me.

The Character of God stands far above the character of Satan, let's take a brief look—God is Just and He is Right, Psalm 33:5. Of the devil, Jesus says—You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it, John 8:44. This is all that I have time, for today. God willing let's look forward to tomorrow.
