Esther 8:15-17 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Providential Will of God is to Evangelize
15 So Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, with a great crown of gold and a garment of fine linen and purple; and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad. 16 The Jews had light and gladness, joy and honor. 17 And in every province and city, wherever the king’s command and decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a holiday. Then many of the people of the land became Jews, because fear of the Jews fell upon them.

Esther – Meditation in The Wisdom and knowledge of God

Here in the United States of us are celebrating our National beginning. The first harvest in 1621 of our ancestors (Pilgrims) in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This thanks was given to our Creator (God). I was taken back a bit this morning when I decided to look up some of the historical facts of our early beginning. Secular humanism is desperately seeking to destroy our History; therefore I need to return to the comfort of God’s Holy Word as it is literally depressing to observe written acclaims that are not worth the ink used to write such lies.

This morning we as a nation need to focus on what God is doing, not just here in the Untied States of America, but in the entire world; which HE alone Created. The good news found in the book of Esther is not the hanging of Haman and the destruction of Haman ten sons, or of the five thousand anti-Semitic people; see chapter 9:1-12. The good news is that the FEAR OF GOD fell on the population of the land and many of the people became Jews, chapter 8.

As we celebrate our ‘traditional thanksgiving’ today we need to fold back the pages of paganism that has gripped our land. We need to give THANKS to our Creator (Messiah) Jesus is the Messiah. Isaiah 9:6-7 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called; Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice. From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Messiah, who called Himself the Son of Man said – “The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day RISE AGAIN!” Luke 24:7. Now the Messiah is risen and is coming again; “I am the Alpha and the Omega, [a]the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8.

Every day we worship and give thanks to God who Created and Sustains the universe for our well-being. There is a remnant of Jews who celebrate a special day called Purim, a day of thanksgiving on March 9. And for the remnant of Jews and Christians (believers) here in the United States of America who celebrate our special day of Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November. Psalm 100:5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.
