Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. “Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ “And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, ‘yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ” Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? “I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

Jesus, the Christ of God/Messiah
The Western Wall of the Second Temple of Jerusalem is where devout Jews come to pray for the return of the LORD. The Romans destroyed the Temple in AD 70, this wall “Hebrew Ha-Kotel Ha-Maʿaravi” is also called the “Wailing Wall” Gentiles do not think much about the wall since we see it as a religious gathering spot for orthodox Judaism to hang on to its roots from 2,000 plus years ago. Yet, it is much more than that.

The LORD Jesus, who is the Messiah, never spoke an idol Word when speaking in parables, or in discussions regarding His countrymen or the future of Jerusalem and Israel. God is not unjust like the unjust judge in this parable, God is long-suffering toward His Children and as His children (Jew or Gentile) we know and understand this. But in order to bring His idolatrous nation to walk humbly, to do justly and to love mercy (Micah 6:8), He will do what it takes to His nation and Church to be like-minded in lovingkindness as He is.

We cannot mix secular humanism with the Character of God, for example; God is Sovereign and unchanging, religion does not have a Sovereign God and is always changing. God is absolute Justice; religion does not know how to be just. God is absolute Righteousness; religion does not have Jesus/Messiah and is mixed with lies. God is Eternal Life; religion is temporal life; God is absolute Love; religion is human works; God is Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient; religion is not everywhere at once, is not powerful and is not all-knowing. God is Truth, religion is a lie. God does not change! God is Infinite, yet Transcendent to His children. God is Incomprehensible, yet Transcendent with His Word. God is Unsearchable, yet Transcendent with His Love.

Like the widow, we need to be persistent in prayer as the Holy Spirit will guide His children in ALL TRUTH, Amen.
