SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:  Matthew 7:24-28
“Therefore, whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it fell. And great was its fall.”

Jesus, the Christ of God/Messiah
Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently; He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high. Just as many were astonished at you, So His visage was marred more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men; So, shall He sprinkle many nations. Kings shall shut their mouths at Him; For what had not been told them they shall see, and what they had not heard they shall consider.

Jesus, the Christ of God revealed the future to the Jew and Gentile, He was prudent in every way to reveal to mankind that the Way, the Truth and the Life were in Him and Him alone. At times He was exalted and extolled. John the Baptizer proclaimed; “Behold the LAMB of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). The apostle Peter when questioned by Jesus, replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.” (Matthew 16:16) and in (Luke 4:41) we read; And demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of God!” And He, rebuking them, did not allow them to speak, for they knew that He was the Christ.

Still, ALL people of all tongues, tribes, and nation, were sprinkled with the Blood when His visage (bodily appearance) became unrecognizable. It is chilling to go through the events of God’s sacrifice for the sin of mankind. Also, it is not easy to write. “All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth”.

All have gone astray! Every one of us who lived or lives readily partook of marring the visage of the LORD Jesus Christ. You may say this is not so! But, if ever you told a lie, stole a penny from your parents, coveted another person’s possessions, have become prideful over some small thing in your life. You are responsible for the DEATH of God’s Son. “MESSIAH”.
