SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:  Luke 11:37-44
Then one of the lawyers answered and said to Him, “Teacher, by saying these things You reproach us also.” And He said, “Woe to you also, lawyers! For you load men with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers. “Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them. “In fact, you bear witness that you approve the deeds of your fathers; for they indeed killed them, and you build their tombs. “Therefore, the wisdom of God also said, ‘I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and persecute,’ “that the blood of all the prophets which was shed from the foundation of the world may be required of this generation, “from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah who perished between the altar and the temple. Yes, I say to you, it shall be required of this generation.

SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES: Jesus, the Christ of God/Messiah
Three strikes against the Pharisees and three strikes against the Scribes. The crime of legal matters against the people of Israel is no different than the crime of legal matters in any leading nation today. What crime is this? It is the crime of keeping the majority IGNORANT! Claiming to revitalize the current way of life by making it better than that of our forefathers. The public leaders (mostly lawyers) create ‘fake truths’ that most citizens complacently believe. 

Building tombs of the past! Think about it! We build monumental tombs of past failures within in national histories. Visit any country and we are so eager to visit monuments of national failures. Now I know that this devotional travels to many countries in Europe and I have been to several. Your monuments and documents are not different than your neighbors and are just like ours in this country. Like the memorials of 9/11 or school shootings and mass murders. We build sites to remember and our news media does not let these horrible events pass. Constantly reminding the nation of FAILURE. 

So, I can understand Jesus and His remarks to the lawyers. Lawyers who control the minds of national citizens are like the drug cartel and there is no difference in the news reported by their false peddling reporters. The answer to all of this peddling of IGNORANCE is for people “one by one” to return to their Creator who is the Messiah Jesus. The key of knowledge was taken from this nation nearly seventy years ago when the first “mass (spiritual) murder” was committed when we as a nation were told by the lawyers of that day to remove the Truth of our Creator out of the hands of our young.
