SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:  Luke 9:26-27

“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him, the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels. “But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the kingdom of God.”

SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES: Jesus, the Christ of God/Messiah
Years ago, when I first heard my pastor talk of the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven, I thought that both terms were synonymous. He understood the difference, but it took a while for me to KNOW that as a child of God our home is the Kingdom of God. We will be with God and God lives in His Kingdom. Today, we live in our earthly body and since the fall of mankind, this body and earth is not our home. 1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh, and blood [mankind] cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption [earth] inherit incorruption.

Jesus is the kingdom of heaven, He is at hand when we hear the gospel, we hear the invitation to come to Jesus and be born again [born from above]. By faith, The Holy Spirit confirms this Truth in our soul, and we become children of God. Rom 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

When we share the gospel of God, we are sharing, inviting and giving testimony of our faith in the One who is the kingdom of heaven. Jesus, the sinless son of man. He is the Messiah – Son of God. 1Th 2:8 So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.

Luke 9:28-36 – At this moment, Jesus was transfigured to His eternal identity (past, present and future) Verse 35 – And a voice came out of the cloud saying [literal] ‘My Son, the Chosen One’

Never be ashamed to share the gospel with friends, neighbors and loved ones. Always be ready; 1Pe 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;
