SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:  Luke 6:32-36 – The Eternal Plan of God
“But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. “And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. “And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. “But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. “Therefore, be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.

Our relationship with GOD, can you understand? Is as different as night is to a day! With people all around us and if our love for them is NOT different, then we love as the world. What spiritual blessing results from the love of the world? None! Now let’s not be selfish with blessings, as some selfishly seek! Shall I look for personal reward, or should I be looking for the blessing that will come to all, who see the love of God through me? Our relatives, friends, even our enemies who see the love of God through us, will glorify God through His visitation of love with them and so will we, the blessing should not be for us alone, but for all who are present. The love that God provides to all is MERCY, before we react to the people around us, allow the mercy of God to prevail through us!

In the parable of the Minas Luke 19:11-27, Jesus explains that the kingdom of God will come at a time appointed by God (not by man) as some seek to have the inside scoop on today! Notice please what JESUS says in verse 13. So he (the nobleman) called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas (about three months salary) and said to them, DO BUSINESS UNTIL I COME, or as the KJV reads, OCCUPY TIL I COME.

Folks listen up; God has given to you and me in this church dispensation a partial payment of the Blessed Hope. We have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We no longer have the wages of death working in us, we have now the partial gifts of the Spirit in us. Now I plead with you; read Romans 8 which parallels this section in Luke 6. We have been set free of “indwelling sin” we have now the “Indwelling Spirit” the Spirit of God is the sufficiency of God in us to carry on until Jesus returns for His Church, just as the minas paid to the servants by the nobleman in Luke 19. We the church are to occupy or do business as Jesus did while He ministered here on earth.

Like the nobleman of Luke 19, Jesus is coming again, we as the CHURCH need to allow God the Holy Spirit to USE the gifts He has provided to each of us, AMEN!
