SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:  Luke 6:27-31 – The Eternal Plan of God
“But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, “bless those who curse you and pray for those who spitefully use you. “To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. “Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back.  “And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.

SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES: Jesus, the Christ of God/Messiah
It is very easy to skip over scripture when the Word being read points to areas in our lives where deep-rooted problems exist. The LORD is the ONE who leads us to read and acknowledge these areas that require spiritual healing. We are the ones who willingly gloss over His Word with excuses and say “Well I keep the Law, therefore, this does not apply to me. In fact; look at my neighbor, he or she is more apt to do this or that, but NOT ME!

The LORD Jesus is being literal in His discourse about the human heart. Love your enemies, do not hate them. If someone curses you spitefully, pray for them. Turn the other cheek if someone hits you. Give up your coat and clothing, too! Give to everyone who asks, and don’t take it back!

From our heart, we hate our enemies! From our heart, we spitefully use people to gain the upper hand. Praying for people who hate and use us wrongfully is seldom on the heart. WHY? Because we have never taken the LORD Jesus at HIS WORD. His Word is not complicated or confusing. We do the confusing and complicating, through RELIGION and human reasoning, in other words… You shall not COVET, (by the way; to covet is to please our self and not those around us) we cannot please God by pleasing ourselves, it does not work.

The Law of God is not designed to deliver us from sin, it is designed to show us that we are sinners. Christ, the LAMB OF GOD has delivered us from ALL SIN! Read Romans 7:1-25. As children of God, we are the Bride of Christ, we are married to Christ as we are identified in His death and resurrection. Why then would we seek to keep the law; that is, should we divorce Christ, just to keep the law! This is to commit Spiritual adultery.

Stay tuned; more tomorrow, the only exception is the RAPTURE, coming soon
