SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:  John 20:30-31 – The Eternal Plan of God – Jesus
And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES: Jesus, the Christ of God/Messiah
I am sure we cannot capture the moment when Jesus entered Nain and raised the widow’s son from the dead. Most every family I know has a member who has past away, either by illness, old age or accident. And like Martha in John 11:21 spoke “LORD, if you would have been here, my (brother, sister, son, daughter, mom or dad would not have died).

We can believe that this trip of Jesus was more than coincidence. I believe the widow whose home was not far from Capernaum was crying out to God in grief as we all do in times like the death of a loved one. God hears all of our prayers. Prayers of the thoughts and anxieties of those who mourn and those who rejoice too!

Notice; when Jesus saw the woman, He said to her “do not weep”, Jesus did not ask her if she had faith in Him, He knew from her prayers before where her faith was abiding. Has your faith found a haven of rest? Jesus provides rest for every soul. Can you imagine this? Your soul, if it is at unrest, is seeking only ONE one solution -  God. God is the Sustainer, Creator, and Maintainer of all SOULS, He presently is monitoring YOU and ME.

‘God has visited His people’ Luke 7:16 if you are born-again, He has visited you and you are His, ‘you are not your own’ your soul is now a temple where God the Holy Spirit dwells, God will not leave us alone, He will never forsake us and He will be with us, even to the end.
