And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES: Jesus, the Christ of God/Messiah

The return of Jesus Christ/Messiah could happen at any time. Before the last words of the New Testament were penned and canonized, Jesus was expected to return for His Church. Still, for two thousand years, the Bride has been waiting for her Groom. In our day the words of the Living Word of God are dismissed, overlooked as a fable, and even made fun of! Watch ANY drug remedy commercial, any sitcom, or better than these; watch any of the liberal news stations here in our nation or any other nation. ONE world government is alive (as the only hope for the world) in the hearts of all people who are ignorant of the TRUTH. I could spend the rest of this morning talking about the things that people of today believe. Let me just add, that if you are given to believing the world, you are accepting a counterfeit (FAKE) system. If you pay attention to your personal soul, you know what I am talking about. The problem is that in these days people do not listen to their soul. Ecclesiastes 3:11.

Life is not about TIME, it is about ETERNITY. The Beatitudes as we call these promises are timeless challenges for all nations; remember Luke is writing to Gentiles as Matthew writes to the Jew, so the beatitudes are for all people, not just the nation of Israel. Jesus promises and He challenges; granting Spiritual prosperity for those of us who follow Him. Who follows Jesus? – His disciples, these disciples are not just the twelve who follow Him at that time, but also, all of us who are or have followed Him, (Yesterday, today and in the future). Now some would argue that a believer in Christ does not have to be a disciple, but what then should we do with the following!

Luke 6:46-58 - “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? “Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: “He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. “But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

I am not suggesting that we ought to work out our salvation PHYSICALLY! Remember, our position, we are children of God, God is Spirit and those who worship Him, must do so in SPIRITUAL FEAR and in TRUTH, as the Truth is in Jesus – John 4:24, Philippians 2:12-13 and Ephesians 4:21.
