The Devotional - Romans 1:16-17 Ashamed are we?

The Devotional Romans 1:16-17 – For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith. COMMENT:   When is the last time you shared the gospel of Jesus Christ with someone? Today we are alive in a very critical and evil world. Stuffed into an overstuffed closet is the GOOD NEWS. Right along with banning the Holy Bible from public school, the local townhall, the Federal Government, public and sporting events and some churches; the Gospel is barred. I need not explain this to you, in your heart and soul you KNOW this is true. Now I know we come up with a lot of ‘human’ good reasons to stay silent, but what about the other side of this coin? The Devotional - 1 Thessalonians 5:12-22 - The time draws near

The Devotional 1 Thessalonians 5:12-22 – And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the LORD and admonish (instruct) you. And to esteem them very highly in love for their works sake. Be at peace among yourselves. Now we exhort (encourage) you, brethren, warn those who are unruly (idle), comfort the faint hearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all. See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all. Rejoice always , pray without ceasing , in everything give thanks , for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus . Do not quench the Spirit, do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. COMMENT:   We the children of God, who by faith alone in Christ/Messiah alone today; live in urgent times. The three things that we Saints of the Living God deal with throughout time is tradition, idolatry and immorality. No

The Devotional - Psalm 121 - Hills of Evil Opposition

The Devotional Psalm 121 – I will lift up my eyes to the hills – From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved (slip); He who keeps you will not slumber, Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber not sleep. The LORD is your keeper (protector); The LORD is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve (keep) your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore. COMMENT: The Psalm (a song of ascents) is directed at the people of Israel, yet it has application for you and me who are Church age saints. As time and Christ centered history move forward, the one thing that we saints ought to notice is that the hills of opposition are larger than those of last year. Not to single out our beloved country as with Israel in this Psalm,
