Today’s Kick Start! –(NKJV) Psalm 19 1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament [expanse of the heavens] shows His handiwork [reveal the work of His Hands].

Personal Obedience—Walk in the Spirit and you will not carry out the deeds of the flesh.

Acts 10 17 Now while Peter wondered within himself what this vision which he had seen meant, behold, the men who had been sent from Cornelius had made inquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate. 18 And they called and asked whether Simon, whose surname was Peter, was lodging there. 19 While Peter thought about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are seeking you. 20 Arise therefore, go down and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them.” 21 Then Peter went down to the men who had been sent to him from Cornelius, and said, “Yes, I am he whom you seek. For what reason have you come?” And they said, “Cornelius the centurion, a just man, one who fears God and has a good reputation among all the nation of the Jews, was divinely instructed by a holy angel to summon you to his house, and to hear words from you.” 23 Then he invited them in and lodged them. On the next day Peter went away with them, and some brethren from Joppa accompanied him.

 JESUS CHRIST: He IS the same Yesterday, He IS the same Today, He IS God Forever!

 To many of God’s children the events of Acts 10 may seem extreme or even unreal. Today in Christendom there is much ‘ado’ about nothing at ‘all’. What I mean is that there is a lot of hype about singing and praising God and worshiping Him in the Spirit. Someday soon we will all witness what God has to say about this current trend of being ‘spiritual’. God is not to be mocked, as we know and should understand that whatever we sow in this world, that is what we will reap! Galatians 67.

 God has provided His children with the ability to do many spiritual things on His terms, not ours! The Spirit of God helps us communicate with our Creator, He also guides us daily to accomplish His Will. We see from Isaiah’s comment that God has a Will and Way this is in no way like ours Isaiah 55:8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.

 We do not have to have the title of prophet or apostle to communicate with God as Cornelius or Peter reveal this to us in this section of Acts. Cornelius a Gentile is a just and godly minded person. Peter is an ordained apostle. These two men are as far apart spiritually as they are geographically. Yet God the Holy Spirit is guiding this meeting. Communication with God is ALWAYS in prayer and meditation, it just does not happen any other way.

 You know I am sure; that you cannot teach a person to drive a car if you do not know how to drive yourself. So, I write to you as one who has experienced similar events in my life as a child of God. There was a day when my wife and I wanted to take a trip to the State of Washington. I had two air tickets, both in my name and wanted one changed to my wife’s name. The agent at the counter said no, so we went home as the flight was still a few days away. We had prayed and asked God for guidance and while eating our evening meal, the Spirit of God nudged me to go back to the airport ‘right now’ was the urgency of the nudge.

 Convincing my wife to get up and leave the table was also Spirit led, so we left for the airport. Upon arriving we met a different agent, she seemed, as I thought, reluctant; but she was just thinking of how she could change the ticket. She changed the name on the ticket by adding “Mrs.” to my name and we were all set to go to the State of Washington. God does not act in mysterious ways, He is a real time helper in times of need, just get personal with Him and you will see.
