The Devotional – Search the Scriptures – 539

Today’s Kick -Start! Psalm 119  165 Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble.166 Lord, I hope for Your salvation, And I do Your commandments.
167 My soul keeps Your testimonies, And I love them exceedingly. 168 I keep Your precepts and Your testimonies, For all my ways are before You.

1 John 4:4:13 (CJB) United with God as He has given us His Spirit

12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains united with us, and our love for Him has been brought to its goal in us. 13 Here is how we know that we remain united with him and he with us: He has given to us from his own Spirit. 14 Moreover, we have seen and we testify that the Father has sent his Son as Deliverer of the world. 15 If someone acknowledges that Yeshua is the Son of God, God remains united with him, and he with God. 16 Also we have come to know and trust the love that God has for us. God is love; and those who remain in this love remain united with God, and God remains united with them.

JESUS CHRIST: He IS the same Yesterday, He IS the same Today, for Forever, IS God!

What? Does the Messianic Community today have the Holy Spirit? Notice the answer is YES! 1 John 4:13. This truth is clearly expressed in both the NKJV as well as the CJB. Yet, there still remains much confusion in ‘churches’ when the subject of the Spirit filled Christian surfaces. On your own time read 1 Corinthians 13:1-12, all of what the apostle Paul reveals in these verses strikes clear, that LOVE never fails. Without God’s LOVE everything ‘churchy’ fails.

 

We remain united with the goal and plan of God when we HAVE love for one another. When we step away from the love that God shares though His Spirit we have become nothing more than an orchestra tuning up for a big event. The big event in the life of the child of God is to abide in the goal and plan of God, which is too TRUST, HOPE and LOVE – 1 Corinthians 13:13. His or her life will reveal God to the world, not because of who they are, but because the love of God (His Plan) is brought forth through them, and God is revealed to the world (His Goal) in that child’s life is.

 

Trust, Hope and Love are not words of physical action or attraction. But these words are; when expressed through the Spirit of God, irresistible to everyone who lives in the lust of the flesh, the lust of eyes and the pride of life. The Messianic Community testifies that God has sent His Son to redeem the LOST from LUST and return those who believe to the LOVE of God.

 

Sadly, I believe the church, worldwide today has failed. Also I could hope to be wrong about this, as the apostle Paul wrote of the condition of Israel’s faith before the LORD in Romans 9:1-5. The organized church in our country is nothing more than a religious exercise directing people AWAY from God’s Plan and Goal, if this be even a bit true, may I ask! Who then understands faith, hope and love? There is a remnant, are you one of the remnant? If you are than you are ONE who remains in His Love.
