Today’s Kick -Start! Psalm 119  161 Princes persecute me without a cause, But my heart stands in awe of Your word. 162 I rejoice at Your word As one who finds great treasure. 163 I hate and abhor lying, But I love Your law. 164 Seven times a day I praise You, Because of Your righteous judgments.

1 John 4:7-11(CJB) There is a Spirit of Truth and a spirit of error.

Beloved friends, let us love one another; because love is from God; and everyone who loves has God as his Father and knows God. Those who do not love, do not know God; because God is love. Here is how God showed his love among us: God sent his only Son into the world, so that through him we might have life. 10 Here is what love is: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the kapparah (propitiation) for our sins. 11 Beloved friends, if this is how God loved us, we likewise ought to love one another.

JESUS CHRIST: He IS the same Yesterday, He IS the same Today, for Forever, IS God!

Some bible scholars and teachers today do not like using the word ‘atonement’ a word as it is used in the Old Testament as a temporary covering for sin. A more preferred word ‘propitiation’ used in the New Testament to reveal that the sacrifice of God’s Son for the SIN of the world a is permanent once for all event in God’s Will and Plan for whosoever will TRUST the Gospel of the grace and love of God. Jesus in His humanity covered (atoned, and once for all) your sin and mine with the sacrifice of His life for the sins of ALL people. IN THIS IS LOVE, not love of a human kind, but of the LOVE which is a God kind.

Jesus not only died in His humanity for our sin, but in doing so, He also taught us how to LOVE in accordance with God’s will and plan for us. He replaced our sin with His love which comes from God. God was pleased with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, if He were not, The Power of God the Holy Spirit would not have raised the body of Jesus to life again, You and I would still abide in the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of human life. 1 John 2:17 – the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will and plan of God abides forever.

In this, is the definitions of the LOVE of God and the LUST of the world – God’s love is NOT found in the greed of the eyes, nor is it found in satisfying the flesh, Nor in the desires of the sinful pride of life. God’s love is found in ONE Child of God—Be of Good Cheer (Jesus said) I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD. John 16:33 – These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” And 1 John 4: You, children, are from God and have overcome the false prophets, because he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
