Today’s Kick Start! Psalm 119:23-24 (NKJV) 23 Even when princes sit and plot against me, your servant meditates on your laws. 24 Also your instructions are my delight; they are my counselors.

Philippians 1:9-11 (NKJV) Prayer

9 And this is my prayer: that your love may more and more overflow in fullness of knowledge and depth of discernment, 10 so that you will be able to determine what is best and thus be pure and without blame for the Day of the Messiah, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Yeshua the Messiah — to the glory and praise of God.

God, does not change; He is the same yesterday, today, and forever—The Messiah!

 

The apostle continues his prayer for the church, earlier in his thankfulness and prayer he is encouraged spiritually. His awareness of their fellowship in the gospel is on track with the glory of God. We too should be encouraged by church and fellowship groups that are bold to speak the Truth in Love.

 

As we move into the verses above, we should likewise have a prayer of exhorting our own church fellowship to grow in love, knowledge, and discernment. God answers prayer, I have never experienced a time when God failed to answer, as even a response of no from Him is an answer. Whether God answers YES or NO we are able to determine what is best, pure, and holy as we patiently wait for the Day when Messiah will rule and reign in His Millennial Kingdom.

 

The gospel of the Christ who suffered, died and rose again will be the same in the Millennial Kingdom as it is today in this church dispensation, as people who are born in this kingdom will be born with the same natural mind of sin, see Isaiah 65:20 “No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; For the child shall die one hundred years old, But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.

 

So the gospel will be preached in the Millennial Kingdom, it will be taught by the resurrected saints of the church age. It will not be like todays prosperity gospel, nor will it be a gospel of self-righteous works. It will be the gospel of the grace of God, just like the one we heard. For like us they will be HIS WORKMANSHIP created in Christ Jesus FOR GOOD WORKS. The Works that God has prepared before the foundation of the world that we should walk in His LOVE, Ephesians 2:10.
