A Bible snippet—and more
Philippians 1:27-30 (CJB)
27 Only conduct your lives in a way worthy of the Good News of the Messiah; so that whether I come and see you or I hear about you from a distance, you stand firm, united in spirit, fighting with one accord for the faith of the Good News, 28 not frightened by anything the opposition does. This will be for them an indication that they are headed for destruction and you for deliverance. And this is from God; 29 because for the Messiah’s sake it has been granted to you not only to trust in him but also to suffer on his behalf, 30 to fight the same battles you once saw me fight and now hear that I am still fighting.

Proverbs 6 (CJB) The Command and Law of godly parenting

Beware of Adultery with the Word of God
24 To keep you from the evil woman, From the flattering tongue of a seductress. 25 Do not lust after her beauty in your heart, Nor let her allure you with her eyelids. 26 For by means of a harlot A man is reduced to a crust of bread, and an adulteress will prey upon his precious life. 27 Can a man take fire to his bosom, And his clothes not be burned? 28 Can one walk on hot coals, And his feet not be seared? 29 So is he who goes into his neighbor’s wife; Whoever touches her shall not be innocent.

The Christ/Messiah – Meditation in The Wisdom and knowledge of God
Conduct or conduct, the manner of how one behaves, or the manner in which one manages his or her affairs. Both carry the responsibility of managing our character in private and public life. Those of us who are saved by the sacrificial blood offering of Jesus Christ/Messiah, ought not to conduct their life IN CHRIST in accordance with seducing the people of the world, or by allowing oneself to be seduced by the world’s people. Did you get that? Should it be said again? And again, and again! Proverbs, all thirty-one chapters exhorts readers to step up to the higher calling of God in Christ/Messiah. Does your life resemble that of a child of God, or does it resemble a crust of bread? Yes, a lot of questions but I am certain—you already know the answers.

The entire Bible is the Word of the Living God, God expects us to obey His Word, not twenty-five, fifty or seventy-five percent of the time. He expects us to obey His Word one hundred percent of the time. Boulderdash, that is impossible! Well, yes it IS, but God knows that we have a wicked heart and a mind bent on corrupt living has provided, first – the gospel for us to believe and be saved for heaven and second – the Holy Spirit to guide us in God’s Word and deliver us through the remainder of life on earth to live godly and peaceful lives. John 14:25-31 and 1 Timothy 2:1-7.

And lastly, we live in a corrupt and dying world, but as a child of God we are alive to Him and dead to the world and as the Apostle Paul clearly states in Philippians 1:21 – For me (1st person singular) is Christ and to die is gain. Are you living and dying in Christ, or are you dying and living like the Christian world?
