SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:  Various Scripture
THE HEAVENS declare the GLORY of GOD, and the EXPANSE of HEAVEN shows THE WORK HIS HANDS! Psalm 19:1 MY GOD, MY GOD, why have YOU forsaken ME? Why are YOU so FAR from helping ME, and the WORDS of my GROANING? Psalm 22:1

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” Matthew 27:46. In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. John 1:1-4. And the WORD became FLESH and dwelt among us, and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14.

Jesus, the Christ of God/Messiah
There are NO WORDS to describe the agony in the human mind of separation. We know the know ‘bits and pieces’ of the agony caused by divorce, dying loved ones and crimes in life that cause permanent separation from society. But we do not KNOW or UNDERSTAND the agony of the CHRIST/MESSIAH during the Thursday and Friday of the last two days of His human life on the earth. We have no firsthand knowledge of what it meant to JESUS to be totally separated from His Deity that Created the heavens and the earth, from His Father and from the Holy Spirit. Jesus in His agony was separated to HIMSELF ALONE, to pay the penalty of the SIN OF THE WORLD!

Therefore, we are directed by GOD to look to Him from the scriptural RECORDS that He has preserved for us. To OBSERVE, to MEDITATE and to BELIEVE on BY FAITH. Proverbs 19: 8 states the following = He who gets wisdom (lit: change of heart) loves His own soul; He who keeps understanding, WILL FIND GOOD.

Psalm 22:1-21 – record the thoughts of JESUS through the prophet, King David. I could write out the Psalm, I really ought to do this as I am fearful that we may not take the few moments needed to read this important message from God to KNOW the ‘searing’ agony of His Son as He died for the SIN of you and me. In the middle of this Psalm, Jesus cries out in His soul. “But You O LORD, do not be far from Me; O My Strength, hasten to help Me! Deliver Me from the sword, My (Lit: my only one) precious life from the power of the dog. Save Me from the lion’s mouth and from the horns of the wild ox.
‘YOU HAVE ANSWERED ME.’
The Father answers His Son with the VICTORY of physical death. But NOTICE Jesus is not dead; immediately Jesus begins to sing the praises of eternal life. See Psalm 22:22-31. We need to place this TRUTH and WISDOM in our SOUL, we need to keep taking in the Wisdom of God by FAITH, then we will find the GOOD that GOD has already provided to His children, those who love Him.
